whats the rest of the set up look like bro?
>Originally Posted by Gekko whats the rest of the set up look like bro? its just using a power head to pump the water up to this filter.
it somehow work abit like sump tank.
>sweet! is it above the tank though? if so, what are you using to support its weight? Thought of setting up a mini phyto-filter above my tank, wondering what the options are to support such weight in the loooooooong run..
>Originally Posted by Gekko sweet! is it above the tank though? if so, what are you using to support its weight? Thought of setting up a mini phyto-filter above my tank, wondering what the options are to support such weight in the loooooooong run.. yes it is a ohf setup.
as for the weight i suppose it can support as my previous stackable ohf setup have more medias than this.( i still have extra of almost half red pail full of CR.
just that this setup will hold bit much water. hope everything will be fine till i change new tank *crossfinger*
>btw. its a video of the filter.
click on it to view. =)
>for better view of the video.
i had upload to youtube.
>nicely done bro, paiseh, didnt realize it was a vid!
>nice...what kind of container is that used to hold the medias? is there no mechanical filtration?
i am looking at ways to submerge my medias also as current ohf trickle seems not doing much.
>Are the medias at the bottom of the tray exposed to running water like those medias on top?
